London
Day 3
St Paul's Cathedral
Me trying to get the cathedral in the background and failing, but I still like the picture. haha
The streets of London:
The view from the top
The eiffel tower? hahaha
The front of the cathedral
Trafalgar's square
Then I went to the National Gallery. I made a mistake while there but I was forgive. National Gallery has lots and lots of really cool and famous pics. I stood inches from Van Gogh's Sunflower painting. I try to take something from the places I go. Here besides the shear size of the paintings (some where bigger than the size of a normal wall) was a painting of the Eucharist that had an image of the crucifix engraved in it.
Big Ben (not visible apparently but the clock tower is) and the house of Parliment. Look at the extreme detail in this architecture.
Westminister Abbey (closed, but the open parts sort of reminded me of a mission)
Westminster Cathedral, which I found out was a Catholic church only have noticing about three very obvious signs (stations of the cross, a picture of the pope lying in the pew, and people praying in a Blessed Sacrament chapel). I ended up taking a nap in one of the chairs there while I was waiting for mass to begin. haha
So close to home...
This "to let" sign someone added the "i"
Then I ventured to Regent's park. This was my walk in the park...enjoy the view time. Aren't the pigeons massive?
The closest I came to fireworks this year:
Yuck-a
